Reasoning Web 2009

Application

The Summer School Reasoning Web 2009 is primarily intended for young researchers from industry, PhD students, or postdoc researchers investigating the Semantic Web and related issues. The Summer School will also be open to some senior researchers wishing to learn about Semantic Web issues related to their own fields of research.
The number of participants is limited. Participation depends on prior application and a reviewing process.

Application

In order to apply for participation in the Summer School, please submit a one page application request as a PDF document through the online application form. On the submission form you should use your name as title and select student as category; do not include additional authors.

Your one page application request must include the following information:

• Name, affiliation, address, etc.
• A summary of your present research activities and interests including up to 3 links to recent publications.
• A description of the benefits you expect from attending the Summer School and its relevance to your research.
• If you are a PhD student and you be willing to give a short presentation, please include a short abstract that will be evaluated by the reviewers (please tick the PhD student presentation in the Topic section)

Registration

The registration site is now open (payment via credit card or bank transfer). Registration will be possible until 21 June 2009.
The Summer School registration fee is 400 EUR and covers teaching, coffee breaks, lunches, social events, and a volume of the proceedings. Additional guest tickets for the social events and lunches can be purchased during the registration.

Accommodation

The accommodation is handled by the Brixen-Bressanone Tourist Office; rooms will be reserved on a first-come first-served basis. Please reserve your accommodation now by filling the hotel reservation form and by faxing (preferred) or posting it at the following address:
